Youth Card
Digital tool for youth work - Developed with youth work professionals
Youth Card is developed in co-operation with the youth work professionals of city of Joensuu. It is a digital tool for Youth work that helps to bring together the organisations in the field, disseminate services and activities available for the youth and collect statistical evidences that can be used to steer the funding to the activities that best reach the youth, in places where it is the most needed.
In addition to this, this tool includes modern and innovative supporting mechanisms for activating youth, such as support for rewarding and gamification processes and targeted benefits, as well as possibility for young people to create their own Activity CVs, directly empowering them in finding inner strengths and assisting in job-seeking.
YOUTH CARD is an Erasmus+ funded project, running from June 2019 to end of May 2022.
In the project, we have also developed a native Mobile Application for both Android and iOS platforms. You can download the app using the links below
To youth
The Youth Card is available in a Mobile Application and a paper card. The youth can track their activity, search events they are interested in and use benefits that are attached to the card.
To service provider
The Youth Card collects together services that are available for Youth in a visual form that is easy to view.
Collecting statistical information of young people’s interest and actual participation in activities offered and feeding this information forward to tools used for auditing youth work also raises the level of professionality in the evaluation of the whole field of work.
